What is Brew 2?
Brew 2 is a fermented, barrel-aged Yunnan black tea blended with Lion's Mane.
Unlike most teas, it's designed to be brewed with a generous amount of leaf, creating a bold, coffee-like character while remaining smooth.
Its naturally lower caffeine and unique fermentation help create the smooth, steady lift that many people enjoy.

Richard's Brew Guide
Brew 2 is designed to be brewed with much more leaf than an ordinary tea. Even when brewed strong, it stays smooth and rounded rather than becoming bitter. Use a generous small handful (around two dessert spoons or 10–12g) and a small amount of water.
If in doubt, use more leaf, less water, then adjust later brews to your taste.
Hot
There are two ways I enjoy Brew 2 hot.
Several small infusions
- • Generous small handful (10–12g)
- • Around 100ml just-boiled water
- • Infuse for about 60 seconds, then strain
- • Re-infuse the same leaves multiple times, adding about 15 seconds each time
One longer infusion
- • Generous small handful (10–12g)
- • Add more water in a French press or another brewing vessel
- • Infuse for as long as you like
- • No need to strain the leaves — they stay smooth rather than becoming bitter
Cold Brew
- • Generous small handful (10–12g)
- • 200–300ml water
- • Leave for 2 hours to overnight
- • Strain and enjoy
Many people prefer Brew 2 cold brewed for its calmer, steadier feel.
Latte
- • Generous small handful (10–12g)
- • Add hot unsweetened soya or almond milk
- • Infuse for several minutes, then strain
Brew 2 works particularly well with unsweetened soya or almond milk rather than dairy.
